Custom
PC Build
Build a PC to your specification.
The standard components you need to build a PC are:-
- System case
- Power supply unit (usually supplied with case but check
first anyway)
- Motherboard (make sure it fits the case you are buying)
- CPU
- Memory
- Sound card (most motherboards have built in sound capability)
- Graphics card (most motherboards have built in graphics
capability)
- Hard Disk Drive
- Keyboard & Mouse
- DVD/CD Writer (not required but you probably wouldn't
want to be without it)
The above are pretty much the basics to build a PC. But
we are happy to build whatever meets your
taste. It could be anything from small, quiet, futuristic,
powerful, water cooled, stylish, or even a PC for your car (did that once!!). Tell us what you want and
we'll do the rest. These days, PC's come in a variety of
flavours. To give you an idea of what you could build, check out the following geeky web site http://www.mini-itx.com/
It's usually a good idea to do your homework first before
going out and buying the components. A good rule of thumb
is to buy all the parts from the same supplier (if you're
not that knowledgeable on the subject) because there's a good
chance that all the components will fit together and they
will know what parts will be compatible. Plus your warranty
will become less complicated.
If you know roughly what you want but haven't a clue what to buy, feel free to call and I would be happy to help you out.
